Hire Purchase (HP)
Ideal if you want to eventually own the vehicle. You pay a deposit, followed by fixed monthly instalments. Once the final payment is cleared (including a small option to purchase fee), you become the absolute owner of the vehicle.

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)
Offers lower monthly payments by deferring a significant portion of the loan (the balloon payment) to the end of the contract. At the contract termination, you can pay the balloon to keep the car, trade it in, or simply return it.
